Even before the global pandemic, many corporations began to introduce flex-work options for employees. We’ve heard of the “9/80 Plan,” where employees work 80 hours in 9 days (versus 10 days). Some organizations offer shortened hours during summer months. Others promote hybrid work location approaches, encouraging workers to be on-site 2-3 days a week while connecting remotely other days.
Recent circumstances have forced us to admit that flexible work schedules benefit both the employee and the employer.
